Poker 2-7 – three exchanges

Poker 2-7 three-exchanges is a poker game where the lowest hand wins the pot at the stage of revealing the cards.
In other words, this game requires aiming low. This is a "drawing" game in which you receive 5 cards, and where you can replace between 0 to 5 cards at every stage of the draw, and replace them with other cards.
In the three exchanges game, each player has the opportunity to exchange 3 times, even though he can "sign a waiver" (not to replace any card) in any replacement session or in all of them.

In Poker 2-7, consecutives or color hurt your lower hand, and aces are always considered high, so that the lowest possible hand is 2, 3, 4, 5, 7.
The following hands, in Poker 2-7, are ranked from the lowest hand (meaning, the one with the lowest chances of winning the pot) to the strongest, in the same way –

The rules of the game

Games played with draws from the pot are played with blind bets, like Flop games.
Each player receives 5 concealed cards. The player sitting after the big blind has the following option: to fold, to match or to raise.
The game continues in a clockwise direction until the betting round is completed.

After the first betting round is complete, an exchange point takes place.
This means that every player chooses which cards (if any) he wants to replace, by clicking on them.
Another click on the card chosen for replacement will remove it from the replacement list.

Replacement of the cards continues around the table in a clockwise fashion.
When it is your turn to perform an exchange, you must click on the button which confirms that you want to replace the chosen cards.

After the first exchange, an additional betting round takes place starting with the first active player to the left of the dealer.

There are additional exchange points, following each of which a betting round takes place, up to a total number of 3 exchange points and 4 betting rounds. Therefore, the summary of events is as follows:

Each player receive 5 cards

The first betting round starts with the player to the left of the big blind

First exchange point

The second betting round starts with the player to the left of the dealer

Second exchange point

The third betting round starts with the player to the left of the dealer

Third exchange point

The fourth betting round starts with the player to the left of the dealer

The Show-Down stage (exposing the cards), where necessary

Determining the winning player

The player holding the strongest hand according to the Poker 2-7 rule takes the pot.
After the pot is passed to the best hand, a new game is expected to begin.

If two hands or more are of the same value, the pot will be divided equally among them.
The ranking of card symbols is irrelevant with respect to determining the winner of the pot.
NOTE: this is different from "Low" poker games or other "Low-High" games you may know; there, an ace can be considered high or low.
In Poker 2-7, an ace is always considered to be high.
